
Tashreeb Al-luhum (bread & Lamb), Love, love this recipe. This recipe can be turned into a vegetarian recipe by removing the meat. This recipe can be cooked in many different ways with beef, lamb, and chicken or only vegetables. Also, you can add any of your favorite vegetables to the dish. The recipe has layers of goodness, pita bread then added vegetables then lamb meat, and the meat broth is added to the dish.
Tashreeb in Arabic means to soak, which is a name given to any dish with broth-soaked bread topped with meat and vegetables. Tashreeb is a common Iraqi dish, its concept begins with the poor where they are able to put whatever they have in the stew and then serve it over bread in order to make it filling. At the present time, this dish has become a staple food in many Iraqi and Middle Eastern households and it is absolutely delicious!

Ingredients:
4 lbs lamb or goat meat cut into Medium-size
1 large onion cut into fourth
4 Small-size potatoes cut into fourth
2 cups cauliflowers
4 large carrots peeled and cut into half-inch size.
2 tablespoons Cumin powder
2 tablespoon coriander powder
1 tablespoon curry powder
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon Yellow turmeric
3 tablespoon salt or as preferred
2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
2 or 3 pita bread
Instructions:
In a larger pot place the lamb and fill with water and place on a stove on high heat.
Skim off foams as appear when the pot starts to boil.
Cover the pot and let it cook for about 45 minutes or until your lamb is tender.
Add salt, cumin, black pepper, Coriander, Curry powder, yellow turmeric, apple cider, Cover the pot let it cook for 10 to 15 minutes.
Separate the meat from the stock do not throw away the stock keep it to be used later
In another large pot add olive oil and Onions let it cook for 3 minutes
Add the cooked lamb and mix well cook for five minutes.
Add Potatoes, carrots, and Cauliflower mix well
Add the lamb stock to cover all your Ingredients if you do not have enough add water let it boil. Let it cook for 15 minutes or Until the vegetables are cooked.
Lower the heat cover the pot and let it cook for 15 minutes.
