 Basmati Rice & Chicken Béchamel Sauce 

Basmati Rice & Chicken Béchamel Sauce :

Ingredient for the rice:

 

  • 2 cups of your favorite basmati Rice 

  • 4 cups of water 

  • Salt as preferred. 

  • 5 tablespoon olive oil 

  • ½ teaspoon saffron 

  • 3 pieces cardamom open

 

Direction:

In a large pot add olive oil, water, salt, saffron, cardamom and bring to boil, then add your rice.

 

After the water evaporates lower the heat and covers the pot tightly. Leave it for about 20 minutes, do not remove the cover of your pot until that time, do not use a spoon to flip or turn your rice it will crush the grain, Use a spatula or something flat.

Chicken Curry: 

Ingredient:

  • 1 chicken breast cut into ½ inch slices

  • 3 potatoes cut into ½ inch slices

  • 1 large eggplant remove the skin and cut into ½ inch slices

  • ½ head of a large cauliflower chopped

  • 1 large white onion sliced

  • 7 tablespoon olive oil

  • ¼ cup flour

  • 1 cup yogurt

  • ½ cup milk

  • Salt

  • 1 ½ Tablespoon Cumin 

  • 1 ½ Tablespoon black pepper 

  • 1 ½ Tablespoon curry powder 

  • 1 ½ Tablespoon coriander

  • 1 ½ Tablespoon turmeric

Instruction:

Add your chicken in cookie sheet tray, add 3 tablespoons of olive oil and ½ tablespoon of each of these spices of cumin, black pepper, curry powder, coriander powder turmeric, and salt.  place in a heated oven of 400°F degrees for about 20 minutes or until is cooked

Add the eggplant and cauliflower in a cookie sheet tray, add 3 tablespoons of olive oil and ½ tablespoon of each of these spices of cumin, black pepper, curry powder, coriander powder turmeric, and salt. Place in a heated oven of 400°F degrees for about 10 minutes.

In a bowl add the flour, yogurt, then add the milk little pit and stir until everything incorporate together, then add 3 tablespoons of olive oil, salt, and ½ tablespoon of each of these spices of cumin, black pepper, curry powder, coriander powder turmeric, and salt.

In 15"x10" Glass Baking Dish add 1 tablespoon olive oil.

Add the potatoes, then the cooked chicken, the cooked eggplant, and cauliflower.

Add the onions then add the sauce of the flour and yogurt on top. Then sprinkle with parsley. 

Place in a heated oven of 400°F degrees for about 30 to 40 minutes until the sauce thickness.
