Basmati Rice with Devil chicken   

Basmati Rice with Devil chicken:   

Ingredient for the rice:

 

  • 2 cups of your favorite basmati Rice 

  • 4 cups of water 

  • Salt as preferred. 

  • 5 tablespoon olive oil 

  • ½ teaspoon saffron 

  • 3 pieces cardamom open 

 

Direction

In a large pot add olive oil, water, salt, saffron, cardamom and bring to boil, then add your rice.

After the water evaporates lower the heat and covers the pot tightly. Leave it for about 20 minutes, do not remove the cover of your pot until that time, do not use a spoon to flip or turn your rice it will crush the grain, Use a spatula or something flat.

 

Ingredients for the Chicken:

  • 1 chicken breast cut into cubes

  • 5 garlic cloves crushed

  • 2 tablespoon ginger crushed

  • 1 jalapeno crushed

  • 5 olive oil

  • ¼ cup flour

  • 1 cup of water

  • Salt

  • 2 cups of carrot, ½ inch cut

  • 1 zucchini, ½ inch cut

  • 2 cup cabbage, slice cut

  • 2 large tomatoes cut in cube

  • 1 large green pepper cut in cube

  • 1 large red pepper cut in cube

  • 1 red onion, cut in cube

  • 1 white onion, cut in cube

  • 2 cups celery, ½ inch cut

  • 1 tablespoon Cumin 

  • 1 Tablespoon black pepper 

  • 1 tablespoon curry powder 

  • 1 tablespoon coriander

  • 1 tablespoon turmeric

 

Ingredients Sauce:

  • ½ cup Hoisin sauce

  • ½ cup ketchup

  • ¼ cup hot sauce

  • ¼ soy sauce

Instruction: 

In a bowl add the hoisin sauce, ketchup, hot sauce, and soy sauce mix well. Set aside

In a large pot add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and chicken cook on low heat until the chicken is fully cooked add water if needed.

Add 3 tablespoon of olive oil, the crushed garlic, ginger, and jalapeno cook for 4 to 5 minutes mix well.

Add the flour and water mix well.

Add Cumin, black pepper, curry powder, coriander, turmeric mix well.

Add the sauce and mix well let it boil.

Add carrot, zucchini, cabbage, tomatoes, green pepper, red pepper, red onion, white onion, and celery.

Mix well and put on low heat. Do not overcook the vegetable.

Cook for about 5 to 10 minutes until all the ingredients incorporate and the sauce thickens.
